Gold over stainless steel will never turn your skin black like gold over other metals so you get a peace of jewelry that won't turn colors anytime soon and in fact this necklace is over 7 years old. It doesn't have a clip/clamp and go's over your head to put it on or take it off. The style is IGOT and I haven't found anymore jewelry like this and don't believe it's made anymore in this style.
NOTE: This necklace has been repaired by me and doesn't have a clip/clamp, it had 316 stamp on the clip/clamp but it has been lost over the years.
