I am selling this antique copper trinket or keepsake box, made in China likely in the early 20th century. The box is decorated on the outside with designs in hand painted enamel cloisonne. Green, red, and white flowers on a pink background with a depiction of a family at play on the top. Side paintings show a man and woman in a field, and a Chinese landscape with mountain and bridge crossing a river near a home. Inside is painted a deep teal blue.
Enamel has chipped off in two spots on the back corners of the lid and on one corner of the lid, exposing the underlying metal. Smooth but uneven texture typical of cloisonne. Lid fits snugly. In overall good vintage condition, with signs of wear consistent with decades of normal use. Marked MADE IN CHINA on the bottom.
