So this is an original Dietz No 2 D-Lite lantern from before the company moved it's operations overseas after 1956. I'm not sure of the exact year but based on research I'm guessing it's closer to 1956 than 1913 when they started making them. Anyway, this is in very good condition overall, has a wick and is operational. It has been repainted at some point. The original color is indiscernible but it may have been red. Any case, this is a nice specimen of a time long past.
