Great necklace made of a carved Bakelite rose in a butterscotch brown/yellow color. Bakelite was one of the first plastics created and is highly collectable. Originally created when Dr. Baekeland was trying to create an alternative to shellac.
Great find, this pendant has great detail and the backside is flat, as seen in the last photographs. The pendant itself is approx. 1” D.
